Norsk Vegmuseum is located in the neighborhood. Contains both indoor and outdoor facilities. Shows the development of the road and its surroundings in Norway. Besides rich museum buildings, there is a great outdoor facility. The entrance is free. Here is something for all generations. A revival of how Norway was built for the older generation. For the younger, an important historical reminder of how Norway has become the way we know it today. Otherwise, there are also exhibitions about important social conditions related to transport in today's Norway.

Hafjell Alpintsenter is right next to us.

Maihaugen is the major famous attraction in the area. A great place. Old buildings, handicrafts, but also from our close history. Houses like our mother and father, and grandmother/grandfather lived in "70's furniture" and much else we remember from the rise ...

Aulestad is another well-known place in the area. It is located in Gausdal, the neighboring municipality in the west. Here lived the famous poet Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson and his wife, Karoline.
